Hey guys! I was just wondering if anyone else experienced some strange statistics ? In my last video after 24 hous the view counts rised steadily to 69 views, but then when i checked again this morning it was down to 39 views!? And when i checked again a little later it was 47 views, and then again 39 views, what's happening?
Same browser every time, and i even checked it in my my iphone browser, but same strange reseult...
Thanks for any input on this! It would be great to know what was going on! :O_o2:

You sure it's not your daily view count on the video? Or are you talking about the overall count of views on the video when you watch it is going down? If so that's weird.

How are you checking the view number? Are you opening/ starting the video each time or checking it via your video manager or, since it's less than 48hours old, through realtime views on analytics?

I'm guessing you're constantly reloading the video yourself and, each time you do, the view count goes up. Then, when YouTube does their auditing, they realize it's you each time and delete the over punted views.
 
I just go to YouTube - My Channel and under "Home" all my videos are listed, beside them is there a "views" number, this has been fluctuationg the whole time and right now it's on 55. but yesterday it was 69 just before i went to sleep, and when i woke up it was 39 :p

It looks like it's been stabilizing at 55 now, but it was really strange s**tt, hope i didn't do anything wrong. Thanks for the inputs tho! :thumbsup2::thumbsup2:
 
Mine have been fluctuating slightly too. It just randomly drops, or spikes by 10-15 views. Overall, youtube has been glitchy for me lately. Currencies keep switching, views are being removed, and even the subs gained graph isn't right.
 
Ok thanks, well there it is then! I hope they fix it soon, it's soooo frustrating to see the graphs changing up and down, when all we want is to see them change upwards! ;):)
