Crazy Cousin - A Manic short

So this is my first time really using Sony Vegas pro for editing. In the past we use to use Ipad apps for the effects and to actually make the video ....windows movie maker... I KNOW.. It sucked. So we made this short to test it out and see what we could do. we were working with natural light for this so I had to do a lot of color correcting but i think it came out okay. Next time we will be using our new lights and we even got a few new gadgets to help with actual filming; But for now, here is our first attempt. Hope you all like it. Thank you!! ♥

That was very good, the effects could use some improvement maybe the muzzle flashes could stay with gun a bit better. And maybe have some kind of white flash or create a 2nd track, mask around the area of the person using the gun's body that's closest to the guns muzzle flash and lighten that masked layer a little (ok that tips a bit long and maybe complicated try gun effects in the past)

Yeah thats def what i am going to do for next time. With everything going on in my life i didn't get to play with it to much. But i did watch a video on the flash

no that is a great tip. Maui actually was working on that too. he found some pre keyed stuff for it so it will be easier to do. I cant wait to make our next video knowing all the things i know now. I may even utilize some cloning lol
 
I like this, I wish that some of the cuts were tighter though. Like when your crazy cousin first starts firing it cuts to you and takes you guys forever before you started moving. Only other thing I could say is that when firing you had like 20 clips coming every time on muzzle flash went off.

No you are too tight. I am super slow so i cant move to fast lol
