CPU Question

Shockotic

Posting Mad!
So I am looking to get the Intel Core i5-3570 Ivy Bridge 3.4 GHz (3.8GHz Turbo Boost) LGA 1155 77W Quad-Core Desktop Processor Intel HD Graphics 2500

and I was wondering 2 things:

1. Since it's "Intel HD Graphics" does that mean it only uses that or when I plug the monitor plug into the Graphics card's slot it automatically goes to the Graphics Card?

2. The motherboard I'm getting is the "Intel BOXDH67CLB3 LGA 1155 Intel H67 HDMI SATA 6GB/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard" and am wondering if the CPU would fit into the motherboard just fine.

*For #2 I'm guessing that it'll work because it says "CPU Socket: LGA 1155" and the CPU is "LGA 1155"*

All processors have a graphics chip installed, but if you have a graphics card, it will have an HDMI (or VGA port) that you can plug into to use, and that will run your monitor.
Also, there shouldn't be an issue, but you won't be able to overclock using that Motherboard, maybe consider a Z77 motherboard.

The only thing i know about the insides of computers is stuff to do with Nvidia sorry

Not all processors have an integrated graphics card and every single motherboard is overclockable, some are just easier that others.
I just wanted to make that clear. :p

The majority do, and not all Motherboards have the capacity for overclocking for effect without frying.

xD I'm not looking to overclock. Those seem about right for my needs. Also, I would go with a better motherboard but I don't have that much money to spend. On a low-ish budget sadly. :/
And thank you. :)
