Its actually going down too, in March it was £4.49 ($7.05), April it was £4.05 ($6.36) and this month so far is £3.56 ($5.59), whats going on!
CPM is still crap and atcually getting lower

It could be a bunch of things.
Where is your video being watched? As my channel grew, I started getting a lot more views from Mexico, South America, and smaller Asian countries… where the CPM is significantly lower than the US, Europe and Australia views I was accustomed to. This obviously brought my CPM down a great deal, but I still continued to earn more from the views.

Yes, as a whole, CPM is down this year compared to last. I've heard a bunch of reasons anywhere from world economy to more people watching and more places to put ads leading to lower ad rates. If you compare April from this year to April from previous years, there is a noticeable decrease in CPM (for most people).
From March of this year through now, CPM should be going up and, for most people, it has been.

i have a small channel but so far my CPM has been consistent in some cases it has gone up this year.
