Music isn't my niche but I know the 'networks that allow cover songs' question come up here on YTTalk quite often. I noticed the above article so I am sharing it here. I don't know anything more about it.

If this applies to you, make sure that you know and understand what happens to your rights when you are with the network and most importantly, after you leave.

I've always questioned the whole audiomicro license survives the end of the partnership nonsense. Personally, I think it's an element of convenience which would apply to this MCN as well. Once you have been flagged as "accepted" within ContentID, there is no way for the content owner to be advised that you have moved from one claiming entity to another which means you don't have the rights anymore, but they don't know that.

Issue with these "cover songs = monetizable" networks like FAM and Maker music is has alot of extra terms..

Both of the above reduce the revshare on any videos containing a cover to ~50%
All views must come from the United States
and there is generally not a whole lot of songs in their catalogs in the first place.

what do you mean views must come from the united states?[DOUBLEPOST=1415163467,1415163128][/DOUBLEPOST]I can't even see the list of songs they have correctly. Their page is messed up

This isn't my area of expertise but with music and movies, sometimes, different companies have different rights in different countries.
