Could Youtube Space help my channel to grow?

Hi there, so Youtube Space just recently opened in my city (Toronto, repping The Six)

You need 10,000 subscribers in order to use the studio resources (I'm at the time of this writing, 381 subscribers), but you can still access and mingle in there and participate in events and workshops. Would attending this place, learning workshops, and meeting with other creators in my city help me to grow as a Youtuber? Also, it's not awkward to ask new creators that you just met if they're interested in future collabs, right? XD

Thanks y'all!

It'd definitely help you grow, and on the small chance that it doesn't, it's better at least giving it a go instead of not going at all, no harm can come from it.

I would deffenitly go and attend workshops! In my opinion socializing online or ofline is a big part of your youtube career.
Asking people you just met to collab is iffy to me.... personaly I only would collab with someone I have an admiratin for or have follow for a long time and not some newbie who just comes up to me. (mainly because collabing should be a two way street and not one.)

Im also from Toronto. I've been waiting for the Youtube Space to open since last year. Im def gonna check it out

DO IT! Don't let your dreams be dreams!

But seriously, do it. You have great workshops in your backyard, so go to it!

IDK, it seems they're getting more strict because I think too many people they deemed "unworthy" were coming to their casual events.
From what I've seen, YT Space NYC is now requiring you to have 1k subs for many social events.
