Coronavirus Videos info

Steves World

Liking YTtalk
I uploaded a Coronavirus Toilet paper meme video last week and it was IMMEDIATELY blocked from Monetization - as not suitable for most advertisers.

Just putting this out there, The video has over 1K views in less than a week, but it looks like we are not getting paid for this type of content.

Either way, I am working on my next COVID-19 video today.

This is very hot topic. I'm sure you can make money in this niche, selling disinfectants from amazon for example (affiliate link in description)

I agree, this feels like one of those rare opportunities to snatch a quick buck if you act fast enough. My buddy and I discussed it a few days ago and decided to try and monetize it in some way, not necessarily on YT either - all social networks are buzzing about it.

It honestly feels scummy, but money's being made in this crisis with or without my participation in it, so I say "get the bag while you can".

I asked for a manual review and YouTube said if the video even mentioned Coronavirus ONCE, it will be flagged for NON-Monetization.
What, no sense of humor I guess.

Just read this: techcrunch.com/2020/03/11/youtube-will-now-allow-creators-to-monetize-videos-about-coronavirus-and-covid-19/

I uploaded a video about Coronavirus today without knowing it. And it's under review. Now I'm thinking it won't be approved.

My only concern is that uploading videos that have Ad restrictions will negatively affect your channel as a whole. Any thoughts on that?

For the Amazon thing - Be very careful.

Here is an official statement from Amazon's associate program regarding the coronavirus:
