yeah i dont like the other ones have treid them but i think that video studio x5 is actually good

Isn't VirtualDub supposed to be pretty good?

Virtualdub is a very good free video editor but it lacks some functions the products you pay for. I use it because I have recordings that go for more than 10 minutes and it's easy to append it, choose the compression for audio/video and have it render.

Videopad is another relatively cheap video editor that seems to have a lot of functions bigger editors, it seems to be shareware with a small fee for unlimited use.
