Copyrighted music in backgroud

I have a video that I want to post however there is copyrighted music in the background for a small segment. I was wondering should I mute what I can of the music or do you think I'll would get away with it?

I do intend on monetizing the video

I have gotten away with a lot of copyrighted music, but then again, the volume is so low that you can barely hear it!

Depending on the volume and the duration it can get caught. I would suggest not.
