Copyrighted Music Help!

Ok so I'm currently editing a how to video for creating a look like an artist whose music is copyrighted. The video would look awesome if I could add some of their music in there, but I don't want it to get taken down/count against my channel. Is there any way to add their music without doing damage?
 
Nope. I wouldn't do it. I think the only way you could do it without doing any damage would be getting explicit permission from the artist.
 
Are these artists big artists like are the popstar big? They might not have a record label so then youtube wouldnt actually take it down

Some still do but allow their music do be used, depends on who. If you are uploading stuff that you don't have the rights to, you might get shut down very soon :/

No I won't I dont get any copyright marks, strikes or anything and the other bigger version of my channel has been doing the same thing for 3 years

they're big enough to have a label.
