Copyright??

Hi, I have a question about copyright which may seem weird or random but....
Basically I am in the process of setting up a new channel for mostly vlog type videos and am planning on getting a YouTube partnership and monetizing my videos. I have already recorded one video for the channel (Although it is currently on another channel of mine atm) where I asked a magic 8 ball some questions and reacted to the answers, and am wondering if Items in the background of the video can lead to copyright problems or may mean I am unable to monetize the video. In the background there are several posters of Lady Gaga and the Simpsons and there are also some other items in the background such as a bottle of Lady Gaga's Fame perfume and some Super Mario figures. It might sound weird but I am wondering if having these Posters/Items in the background can lead to copyright issues?? I also draw attention to the fact that I have a Gaga poster behind me at one point in the video lol.

I am just wondering because I know your not supposed to use things like photographs that you do not own the rights to and I don't want to get into trouble for it.I've Attached a screenshot of the background: 8 ball thumb2.png

This shouldn't be a problem. From what I understand, these are incidental inclusions. You can't be expected to film in a completely blank space to avoid copyright infringement, otherwise it would be ridiculous! If you had a poster of Lady Gaga, and made it look like she was endorsing your channel, by plastering 'liampadams' all over it, then there might be an issue. But even then its highly unlikely.

Nah, I was drinking a shiner bock in one of my vlogs (don't worry, it was a Q&A, and I was sitting poolside) and feature car models in my cars & coffee and car reviews I have done in the past. I don't think you have to fear copyright infringement until you purposefully use background music that is not royalty free or pass on a product as you own.

no you cant post image in the background, 99% of all youtubers dont even use image backgrounds because of the copyright claims from youtubes broken ID serch.

It won't probably be a contententID claim of YouTube, no easily releavable..

Anyway, as regards of copyright it is surelly an infringement of copyright...

But as far as it goes not out of YouTube... You'd not incur in troubles ^^
