Copyright strike retraction

Has anyone ever gotten a strike retracted by the person who striked you?( removed )
If so, how long did it take for youtube to remove the strike?
 
Yea man, I had retraction 10-11 times.. And retraction from big companies like WarnerBros, IFPI (protect artists), WMG, GrayZone. I just e-mailed them and appologized and they retracted the videos, but I had to delete them!
 
I'd say YouTube take a couple of business days to review and process it. Usually 3 business days in my experience.

I'm talking about copyright strikes, not content ID claims btw

You mean to retract the videos? Well I e-mailed them and after maybe 10-15 hours they replied to me that they'll retract it. After that the company e-mails the YouTube copyright team and tell them to remove the copyright sanction, that's what a retraction is I think..

I'm asking how long did it take after they emailed youtube for the strike to be removed

I just got a copyright strike from Warner Brothers. Would you be able to let me know what email address you used to ask for a retraction?
