So I'm pretty new to this whole Youtube thing and I need a little help from those that understand this a little better than me. So i uploaded basically my first video (at least one that was edited and such) which included me playing DMX's "What's My Name" as a quick tribute to him. After uploading everything went fine and it still is but I have a notice saying my video was copyright claimed which is something I expected obviously playing music I suspected was copyrighted, even though I didn't (and can't because I'm not a partner or whatever) monetize my video, will leaving that clip in lead to a copyright strike or any other negative outcomes? As far as I can tell it's cool, UMG's placed ads on the video and the money will go to them which I kinda don't have a problem with but is that about the extent of it? Appreciate any help that can be given thanks.
