CONSTRUCTIVE Feedback for a weird video I made, please?

ive been struggling to get my booty in gear for a while now, and I actually DID IT! Also it was fun, so it’s an accomplishment for me!


I just want to know overall thoughts. What you think I can work on and what I did right, so Pro/Con type thing. Thanks in advance :)

Is this supposed to be entertaining? There's too confusing and random to have any message.

It does have a “message” it’s a mishmash of how my brain pretty much works when I have my period and am miserable.

If you have any constructive criticism I’d appreciate it.
Otherwise you can take your condiscending attitude somewhere else. Yes it’s weird and random and purposely bad, but you don’t have to act like you’re some connoisseur of internet videos and the decider of what is entertaining. I’m asking for feedback, >>>>constructive<<<< feedback because I KNOW I’m flawed and want to improve.

Try to be more relatable for women on their periods and you might grow that audience. The basics of youtube is you need to find a market for your audience then make content for that group of people. Are there any channels that make very similar content to yours that are succeeding? If you had a message and were more relatable I'm sure you could grow your channel.

Yeah, I'm not trying to become a channel like Lacy Green or anything.
I just have an eccentric way of going about comedy sometimes and I'm just having a good time. I know at least a handful of people liked my video whether they got it or not, whether they read the description to figure out what the video's point was supposed to be lol I'll most likely put out more relatable or content with a more discernible point sooner or later, but I've been favoring meme-y/wtf/screwing with you/purposely bad content for a little while so I just went with that and made an omelet with it, shells and all. haha
 
Hey, watched the video a couple of times so I could pick up on a few things.

Pro's
  1. very good edits, half speed sounds and different colour changes and visual edits
  2. The donation and vote for you segments were a good, jokey cutaways are always a winner (would have probably made the first (donation) one slightly quicker as I think the joke would have been funnier in a quicker speed (just my opinion, I am sure lots of people found it funny regardless))
Con's (again only my opinion)
  1. what as the sound in the background (it sounds like running water)? it was a little distracting

all in all, you have a great sense of humour and the video was good, I found it funny

side note....... I did check out your other videos to get a feel for your channel in relation to this video and I found your cover of part of your world... you have a great voice, why don't you do more singing?

WOW thank you so much for taking the time to look so in depth! Yeah I agree it was pretty slow, I was just going for that sad, aspca commercial type feel but yeah it could have been a little faster.

AND YES Ugh. It was a fan that was on It didn’t hit me until I was deeeep into editing and wasn’t ENTIRELY sure how to separate sound from the video, stick it in audacity to fix it, and then plop it back in there, so I decided to take the loss and hope that the jokes and editing would make it less noticeable. I’ll be more mindful of background noises next time!

Thank you for the compliment on my voice! I DO plan on doing more singing and maybe parodies/funny songs/covers at some point, but as you May have noticed my upload consistency is less than stellar so I’m just kinda starting over I will though! I love doing it ☺️

I am always happy to help, I am pretty much starting over again myself, basically doing new content, so I know the feeling, you're content is good, just keep at it and keep finding new ways to make the next video better than the last

that's what I'm afraid of. The next one not making (at least me) happy as the last. But I guess that's all a part of it! :)
 
I'm not really sure about this one. First of all I feel as though you are zoomed in way too close. The editing was little messy (I'm not the best with that myself). I recommend watching some parodies, looking into some visual editing tutorials as well. Sometimes simple is better. Good luck.
