also am i able to connect a black magic to that motherboard? thanks.

In short. no. Motherboard only supports DDR 3. Card is DDR 5. Don't be afraid to get a good motherboard! Very important IMO[DOUBLEPOST=1354916785,1354916768][/DOUBLEPOST]IDK about a black magic

As far as I am aware you can install the graphics card onto that board, I am quite sure graphics memory isnt related to system memory and as long as he has a decent PSU it will be fine.
