Community Gaming Channels? (Opinions!)

Hey there good people of the Internet. As some of you may or may not know, I produce FIFA 12 videos for the gaming community on YouTube and will continue to do so throughout FIFA 13 (and beyond I hope!) to reach my goals.

So here's the thing, I've encountered a large amount of these 'community channels' which basically upload and showcase smaller channels' videos. I was thinking of submitting a video to one of these channels which has roughly 10 times the subscriber base that I have; and is partnered with Machinima. So - what are your thoughts on this? Is this a good idea to help increase your viewing/subscriber base, or is it best to keep uploads on your own channel?

I like the idea...it can't hurt to do it at all. I would like to do that as well sometime in the future.

It sounds like a chance for some real promotion for people who can sell their content in their channel to the broader audience of the community channel.

Thanks for your replies; this is what I was hoping to hear if I'm honest. . And to repeat what VlogRays said, I guess it has no major disadvantages to it.
