Was wandering, how do people start community channels

How do I get started? How do I get people to participate? Is there anything you guys don't like about community channels that I should keep in mind?

well ... comunity channels are basecly a group of friends ... i think if you wana start on youre own its gona be very VERY tough ... start making a forum and have some friends around there and spread the word about it ... i think thats an easy start and then just make yourself and the channel noticed
 
Understood, but all i gotta do is make the channel and just get partnership
or make the channel and contact google that the channel is a community channel?
 
well first make the channel and get ppl there and when you have a decent amout then you can actualy get partnered
