Comments not showing up in the bell?

So... supposedly the best and ONLY good feature about Google+ that everyone was defending isn't working for me. I'm getting comments on my videos but the bell isn't notifying me, anyone else having this issue?

I thought part of the reason they implemented this was so I wouldn't have to go through a whole process, no I have to go through video manager, community, comments AND then go to the actual video to respond...
 
google disabled the automatic share button, you must click it to share your comment on google+ now.

Indeed, they only notify you of +1 and shares via the bell now. I think (hope) we'll be able to reply directly to comments directly in the community->comments page. If they do that, it will be an improvement. If they don't then yeah, don't get me started lol
 
I know how you feel, i find it near impossible to find all of my new comments now. I was just told there you can access them through the community tab actually!
 
It doesn't show up for me either. It's been like this for a few weeks now. I noticed, though, that the community tab's comment section is now working properly so I guess Google want us to go back and forth, everywhere.

Yeah they did this day 1, when you comment on a video it has a tick box to share to google+.

I hope not, because that section has no notification, that means you'll have to scroll through pages and pages of comments just to get to the first comment you received since you were absent from the channel. They would need to add a thing where you ticked the comments you viewed or something. Otherwise it's gonna be a whole mess.

Makes you wonder why they removed it from the inbox in the first place.... lol they just went and made the bell useless when they were trying to do that with the inbox, why can't they just get listen to people and get it right. Seems the only thing they can get half right is a red line showing up at the top of the page. lol[DOUBLEPOST=1390899321,1390899012][/DOUBLEPOST]Seems if you reply to the comment and get another reply it then notifies you.
 
I was one of the people who defended Google+ purely because of the comment/bell system, and now that it's (basically) gone then I'm back to hating it like everybody else! I've had to bookmark the comments section of the community tab so that I can more easily access it.

Yeah, it's been driving me crazy... I had to turn replies off for that a comment I made yesterday. I made a comment on another channel,and people kept commenting to the video, using my original comment. I kept getting notifications for random replies from people that I didn't even know and weren't even commenting on what I originally said. Haha. Then, of course, my own video comments--I have to go and search for in that community tab.

ok for those who cant read, the bell is for google+, NOT YOUTUBE, earlier this week google decided to take off the check mark that auto posts your comment to your google+ page, mainly because of stupid complaints that made no sense (I forget to uncheck it and some stuff is posted to my blah blah blah whine, whine, whine) could of just unticked it like i did. Basically you have to re check it everytime you want it to go to google+ now, instead of it being default, you have your fellow whiners to blame, not google or its currently owned website youtube.
