It is no secret that the great comedians that blessed our earth with their presence, as funny as they are or were, are known to be in their intimate, to be men/women who are sad or laugh rarely in a genuine way.
Comedians don't laugh, because they know that what they say is true, and there is a big difference from a funny person, and a Comedian.
A funny person is himself/herself, and the smiles and laughs he/she gets are because of the silly way of acting.
A comedian is someone that wants to send a message, using the absurdity of the real life to set you in a mood, and trough the laugh tell you something.

Take the great George Carlin, he made people laugh of themselves, and sent a message to them, sometimes straight, sometimes in form of comedy speech, because he didn't like people not to use their brains, and get rid of the blindfold that society puts over you.
