Clip converter safety?

Just type ss before youtube when on the link the video is on.

Example like youtube.com/s;lfkjs;foifjs;fjsz

you will put ssyoutube.com/s;lfkjs;foifjs;fjsz
 
For what it's worth, I've been using that website for about half a year now to download videos for GIF making and I haven't encountered any problems. Just make sure you paste your link, and then press continue, MP4, and then press START after confirming your quality settings, etc. I wouldn't press any download buttons until it's completely done rendering the video, etc.
