CJ E&M_managed fake claim

XiaoK

I Love YTtalk
Does anybody get this claim before? Its a Korean company which had nothing to do with video games industry. They even gave me a strike on this:banghead:

Need more detail. What game, what kind of video (LP, commentary, review, footage, cutscene, whatever). It could be an auto claim or it could be legit.

Hearthstone, cutscene, the company is a music company, nothing to do with Blizzard.

I took a look. The CJ E&M_managed basically abuse the MCN system and auto claim/content id any video they upload (including stuff like NASA and public domain footage). Dispute the strike, and if they deny it dispute it again. The second dispute is bassicly saying to them "send legal documents to google that you are now sueing me or google releases the video". Then they have 10 days to comply. Since they don't own blizzards hearthstone cutscene they'll have no choice but to release claim. But beside that for future reference you really should cut out any cutscene footage in a LP, those are often copyrighted and are note monetizable.

they are striking me one strike per video. And it took time for them to release the claim, what if they keep striking to me, 3 strike will immediately end my Youtube channel. I was dying here....

Then you would appeal the channel deletion. Otherwise there's nothing you can do to prevent this kind of thing unless you're a managed partner with an MCN.

I would like to see youtube penalize MCNs for abusing content id and iding everything their users upload instead of only things they truly own. However most MCNs ive seen fail to explain to their users how to properly use content id and when NOT to hit that "submit for content id matches" button. But anyway unless youtube makes changes then i'm afraid you're stuck doing appeals if it happens again unless you join an MCN and have a managed position.
