Child friendly content .

I know you can choose whether your video is suitable for children ( mine mostly aren't ) but I was wondering if somebody could clear something up for me .
I do horror related stuff and some if not all is definitely not for children (some moments of horror, violence , bad language etc ) so my videos are submitted as none child friendly.
I had an idea that would fit really well with my horror related channel yet at same time this idea is definitely child friendly and I think kids may enjoy it .
Itd be nice if my niece could watch them so what I'm asking is if I submitted my child friendly videos as kid friendly on my channel would the children be able to see those and not my more disturbing content or is a mix not allowed on the same channel ?

A mix on your channel is fine.

Mixing child friendly and unfriendly videos is not a good idea, IMO. Maybe create a separate channel for children.

As for me, the really best option is to make a separate channel for children.

the question is, is it made FOR children. is your target audience for the video children. you can have a video that is ok for children to watch that is not made for children therefor you would select that it is not made for children. if the target audience for the video is children and it is made specifically to appeal to children then its a whole different ballgame.
