Cheap but good equipment

Does anyone know any good equipment which is cheap and easy to get? As I am not a big channel so I don't want to waste loads of money but I don't want crappy equipment. Under £40.
Thanks
BTW that is anything like mics, recording and editing software etc.

ezvid is a free recording software :)
Virtualdub is a free editing software (but only works fully if you use AVI videos) :)
Also Lightworks
For microphones, I think the CAD U37 usb mic is around that price. But you could also just get a cheaper headset mic (like the one I use) and enhance the audio with audacity :)
Anyways, that's all I know, hope it helped.

I think the best way to do this is to check ebay for 2nd hand equipment. You can get a 100 pound camera for 40 if its second hand and you are lucky.
Also don't bother buying lenses, just buy lense attachments which are 10 pounds that you can put in your camera lense to get wide angle, macro etc.
and for the lighting. Just get a bunch of table lamps at home and open them informs if you. You don't have to buy those fancy expensive studio lamps.
Start with what you have at home and then over time buy more equipment.
Many youtubers started off with their web camera.

My headset is the geotec ex-05 gaming headset it has a good mic and sound ( IMO)
and is £40 in game ( at least I think it is )
