Channel upgrade check list!

So I'm going to be giving my channel a big upgrade
and im trying to figure out if I've forgotten anything
I've got:
Better content
More content (other than vlogs)
New schedule
New channel graphics
- banner, pic, intro, logo, thumbnail style ect..
New background music
New equipment
-Mic, dslr mic softbox, tripod, pop filter
New editing software
Planned channel trailer for unsubscribed viewers

Anything I could be forgetting?
I'm holding off on a new camera and lens because its abit too expensive right now
and im saving for it

Do you need a DSLR? Fairly big expense and generally they have a 30min video limit. Unless you're into photography too there must be a cheaper and just as decent option?

Im using a dslr now and never actually thought of looking at a camcorder

Oh ok, didn't realise you meant you already had it, thought you meant it was on your shopping list. Should be fine whichever DSLR it is really. For Youtube resolutions I'm sure what ever camera you've got is more than adequate. Again, lens shouldn't be an issue, the kit lens will be good enough for that, you won't see any difference with a better lens unless you're going for a depth-of-field effect in which case a fast prime lens may be what you want. Will cost you though unless a 50mm or 35mm will do which (depending on your set up) probably won't be wide enough!
