Channel subs or unsubscribing not counting for me

For me, I usually would subscribe to my friends however I know there is a 1000 channel sub limit and subbing to over will randomly unsubscribe a channel. However I subscribed to three of my friends and when I unsubscribe the count still remains the same. I tried to address this but nobody seemed to respond can someone help me figure out why my channels won't count my subscribe to them. Does anyone know what is causing this?

This is normal behavior. YouTube often delays updating subscriber counts, and sometimes removes subs it considers inactive or spam. Also, if you’re near the subscription limit, new subs may not register properly. Try unsubscribing from a few channels, wait 24–48 hours, and then subscribe again. If the issue persists, it’s likely a system/filter issue on YouTube’s end rather than anything you’re doing wrong.
