Channel Review?

I'm a little scared to ask.. but I know that any constructive criticism will be good for me and my channel.

Some info:

• I do not have a niche yet - I've been unable to narrow down a specific niche for my channel but didn't want to keep putting off creating content. (I had been doing that for.. lets say a long time) So when you see it you'll see a collection of different things.
• I started uploading on 9/1 so the channel itself is still quite infant.
• My upload schedule is twice a week, giving me a total of 7 videos so far.

What I'm looking for for feedback:

• A general first impression;
• Branding (Do my thumbnails catch your eye? Banner feedback?)
• SEO - This is probably what I struggle with most.. and have been working on. I've been trying to work on my tags, and keeping my descriptions, thumbnails and tags all cohesive.
• Thumbnails: I've been slowly experimenting with different Thumbnail looks, but my current collection (which are not on my channel yet but will be later this week) are very different from what you will see on the channel. My main concern for changing it is that I worry the background in my thumbnails can be slightly distracting?

Although I'm a tad apprehensive as I'm still learning.. I would LOVE some feedback from all of you YouTube vets

Hey Jamie! Took a look at your channel and I think your banner looks good! It also connects with your intro in your videos which is short, sweet and to the point! Your thumbnails do look consistent which is good but don't be afraid to try out different things! The text is clear and the image is also eye catching and thats what you want in a thumbnail! As for SEO... ahh! I'm still struggling and learning and struggling more with SEO myself! Some tips that might help with tagging would be to place your title as like your first tag and find good key words to tag in your video! Not sure if you use it but I would highly suggest Tube buddy to help you out on this! It has a feature to help you look up and check what keywords are trending and even some tag suggestions! Other than that just keep working at it and you'll get better! Good luck on your channel! You're doing great!

Jamie your banner is so niiiiceeeee..... omg my fav color. Design is so nice. You used Photoshop for ur banner???
The banner text is so neat and clean. Very cool.
Your thumbnails are catchy. You know why? Your facial expressions are eye grabbing. Plus the text that your put on your thumbnails is pretty cool. Especially the best makeup remover. The tilted design is so perfect, i think you should experiment more of this design.
Your confidence is nicee.... Keep it up!

Love the banner its really eye catching, for me its difficult to see at first glance what your channel is about, the banner says DIY which to me means home improvements and reviews on what? its only when i then glance at the thumbnails to a get a more clearer picture. Hope that helps.

While I can't really help with SEO aside from telling you about Tube Buddy as I am pretty bad at it myself everything else on your channel seems fine. I watched your intro video and Kingsman review so I'll give you a few pointers on what I saw.
The thumbnails, channel art and everything are fine. As for the videos they are also pretty good. At certain points the lighting changes on your face during the jump cuts which is very noticable so just be on the look out for that. Your camera also does an auto focus at times mid take. I know how annoying that can be! Maybe you can play with the settings but honestly it's fine for your first few videos.
About your Kingsman review my only real criticism is that when you talk about spoilers you should put a time stamp on the video to when you aren't talking about them anymore. Makes skipping ahead MUCH easier. Also putting all of the spoilers together helps so people don't have to skip ahead multiple times in the same video.

Honestly you have made a great start and I can see you getting better fairly quickly!
