I've Got It
Hey everyone,

So the other day I got an email inviting me to visit youtube space for different workshops and courses for production and I checked it out. I applied to one workshop and got an email that my channel did not meet the workshop requirements but didn't say what the requirements are and I couldn't find any info on that anywhere.

Does anyone know what the channel requirements are to be accepted for these workshops?

It changes depending on the workshop and what exactly they want you to be doing, your going to need to email the people inviting you and ask them what the workshop requirments are.

Speaking from attending the one in New York a gazillion times (I miss everyone ever since moving back to FL :crying:) Nothing too out of reach: Only 1,000 subscribers minimum for most of the workshops/events/screenings and watch time/views/activity aren't taken into account. Some of the events are 10,000 and some 100K (I didn't attend much of anything in April because most of it was 10K+ stuff). Every now and then they'll throw an "open house" or "mixer" where people of any size can attend whether it's 3 subs or 300,000. Real fun for connections, I made new friends (and became acquainted with familiar faces) every time. The free food and drinks at every single one of these were always my favorite thing though. :-P

That about sums it up. Sign up is done through applying at the yt space site. The amount always varies per event.

Yup, everyone has it right. 1,000 subs to attend events, and 10K subs to use the YouTube space, generally. I went to my first Creator Day last month, and it was lots of fun.
