Channel Keywords and Video Tags

Hi Everyone,

I would like to ask what your strategies are with respect to channel keywords and individual video tags.
For individual videos tags, do you also include some channel keywords?

For example for our channel, our channel keywords include such words as "toys" "kids" "fun" "games".
Our individual videos include specific tags related to the video, but we also include a handful of
the channel keywords.

Is this the correct way to go about it?

I think one word keyword is not used already.. It should be more of phrases. Sometimes you need research to to get a good keywords. Like research on wikipedia some dead links or also some words you can use for description. Sometimes use the biggest social network to use to search most words people use.. Sometimes check some channel ads to get words you can use to create a great title that will capture some people searching the website.. Then also use some long tails.. you can also download tube buddy to see how strong your research words are..

Keywords are a scientific art, you need to find a word thats been used but has not got much compitition so that you video will end up on the first page of videos, also use witty titles to get peoples attention and have the first word all capitals just like:
SPARROW To The Knee.
Keep researching you will find a word thats searched loads but not many titles using that word.
And for tags use tags that are related to you content. For example: if you are playing cod, using the outrider specialist, using sparrow on team deathmatch and your teams winning and playing the combine map on ps4 use tags like, outrider, sparrow, combine, team deathmatch, winning, ps4, sony, team deathmatch and Cod

Good point about the witty titles ~ so far our titles have been fairly descriptive, I guess it's more for the keywords for the search engine, but I guess it's just as important to get people's attention.
