Hello, guys


I would like too ask you about youtube name...basically, when I created my channel , I haven't checked if there is any users with similar names. Now I have an issue. There's a channel called Iza and Elle...and mine is Iza Elle. Everytime I search for my channel this channel pops up...I think it's the best to change the name while im only have 350 subs...but im not sure how to name it...my real name is Izabele. I was also wondering If could have one name only instead of 2. Thank you so much.

Click on your profile photo at the top right, then click on the gear icon. That should bring you to the page where you can edit your name.
 
I just checked the Iza and Elle channel. As you probably know they have nearly 80,000 subscribers and from their profile pic I'm guessing it is about two young girls...so they are only likely to get bigger and stronger.

I supposed some may argue that as they grow bigger it will draw people to your channel because you share a similar name...my opinion though is that you are right to change your name. It's pretty easy to do, you can even change your URL one time I think, although I believe that you need a certain amount of subscribers for this "privilege".

In answer to your other question: Yes, you can have one name only instead of two.
 
You could try just Isabelle or Elle izabele or change your name to Ella, ella Isabella, or Ella Isabelle. Maybe try change if the spelling or instead of using Elle you could try or last name if that is your last name try your middle name or maybe a nick name people who know you usually calls you. I hope some of these will help you with an idea:)

Im still not decided...It's hard to be with only one naame on youtube, i mean i checked so many youtubers have similar names...but to be honest i got to that point that i dont like the words together...i quite like iza elle, i am thinking about: Izabelle, Izaelle (should II just make one word from current name?), Izabele, Izabella...

I quite like Izaelle, since it's a little more unusual, and it migh stick in peoples heads a bit more
I also find that YouTube channels with JUST someones name, like Jessica or Marie their channels get drowned out by other channels with similar names, since lots of people have the same name and might just choose to have their username/viewable name as 'Jessica' someone with the CHANNEL name 'Jessica' with have to fight through hundreds/thousands of channels with that name as well

Plus, Izaelle keeps your brand the same!
Just my opinion though :wtf:

Maybe you can keep your name but add an extra word that describes your channel.

I recently changed mine from "ocean chan" to "ocean chan freediving". So its easier to search for me and people know what my channel is about
