Car Mount Help

We want to use our camera while driving for a segment on our channel called "Epic Car Vlogs", where we flip on the camera in the car and record our conversations, because they're are always hilarious. What kind of car mount should we use for this type of camera, if we can.

If not, do you have any ideas on something we can fashion at home to kinda ghetto rig it?

Thanks, I'd appreciate any help I can get.

How about one of those things you hook a phone to your dashboard? Perhaps there's a way of securing it?

Otherwise, you could always just tape your camera to the dash, but depending on your camera's value you may not want to risk it looking icky for the rest of its life lol.

Maybe, I'd have to look at the phone thing. And if the tape thing works, I won't care what it looks like after, just as long as it still functions properly haha

Basic dash mounts seem pretty cheap on amazon so I should think you'll be able to find something that works there.

I'm wondering, does that camera actually have a wide enough lens angle to get you both in frame from the dashboard?

Not that I'd need one like that, but I definitely wouldn't trust any of the mounts that go outside the car, I have enough trouble keeping this thing on it's tripod when I move it around! But what I might do is use the phone we used to use to film our videos, which has pretty good video and fantastic audio for what it is. I think that'd work better. Well, as soon as I can get a phone mount, you'll be seeing some very interesting car vlogs! And about that noise you mentioned, do you think the same would happen with the phone on the phone mount?

I think it does have a wide enough view. The phone definitely does, so I don't see why this wouldn't.

Check out the video in my signature. At the end I do some talking inside my car. I use a go pro HD2 for inside the car mounted on the dash. Now my car is a bit loud and I do not have an external mic for the go pro. This is the type of noise you should expect.

Well I'm now asking if I use a phone mount, will my phone's camera pick up any buzzes or anything? Also can I switch it around so it's facing inside car instead of out the windshield?
