Can't use banner?

I just spent 2 hours making a banner and now I can't even use it. -.-
I uploaded it and I keep going to "edit channel art" and keep selecting it but it won't work. It won't save and use my new banner. Does anyone else have this problem? I select it and go to the page where I can choose to "adjust crop", then I press "select" and it says "saving" then nothing happens.

(I am currently on some default gallery image banner)

Try dragging and dropping, I had this too but it worked as soon as I dragged and dropped Let me know how it goes for you, I have seen a few others mention this issue too.

I just tried dragging to the upload box and it uploaded and I pressed select and it still didn't work. :/

I am unsure then. If its a PNG, try saving it as a JPEG and uploading it and then try the PNG, that's something else I did.

Thanks it worked!
I renamed it, saved as jpg, dragged it in and now it updated my channel art.
But oddly my banner does not look the way it did in the preview. It looks worse, got compressed horizontally or something (wasn't supposed to show the black sides) -.- But at least it saved, thanks.

Also maybe it was filesize. After saving as jpg, the file size went under 1 mb.

No problem, that must have been what fixed it for me too but I must have thought it was the drag and drop
