Can't monetise!!!!

Hi Guys!

I'm going round in circles with this!

I've started a new channel and I'm trying to monetise it, the channel has been verified but everytime I go to enable monetisation it says 'Choose your country location before signing up for monetisation'

I've gone into the 'About' bit on my channel and changed it to UK. Anywhere I'm missing because clearly somethings not working here! Anyone else had this?
 
Have you gone to your channel page, clicked the "About" tab, and filled your country there (under the "Details") section?

Edit: Yes, you did. Try changing it to United States, then back to the UK.

It won't let me set it up through the Adsense site because thats for blogs, to do it for YouTube you have to monetise through your YouTube channel, that the bit that's saying Choose Your Country....

I've tried changing to United states then back to the UK, I've tried changing it to None then back to the UK, I've tried changing it to Unite States, logging out, logging back in and changing back to UK but still no luck... I can't find anyway of contacting Google/YouTube themselves either which doesn't help. It's a great platform but their support is dreadful!

Evertime I click on the Choose your country location link it goes through to the Advanced page where the location stuff used to be but isn't anymore.
 
According to the Google Product Forums, this is an issue with YouTube. The issue has been escalated to the team and they'll reply back with a fix.

I'd link the thread but I can't post links. Google "Choose your country location before signing up for monetisation" and pick the Google Product Forums result (for me the 3rd one down).
 
same can't find country on old and new channel :D, report this issue on Google Product Forum
 
So now I play the waiting game.... Does anyone have a link to some sort of support with YouTube/Google/AdSense so I can get someone sort of a ticket open for it? Can't find anything...

According to the Google Product Forums they moderators/support fast respond your problems
 
It's fixed now! Just went on the there to double check, I clicked 'Choose your location' it took me to the same page but the county option is on there now, it was saying Afghanistan which I changed and its worked! :)
