Canon 60d or 600d?

So I really wanna get a new camera for my YouTube videos, mine is fine but I'd prefer one that would give clearer sound and picture! From what I gather the 600d is the older version, but I can't really see much difference between the two, except the 600d is alot cheaper here in the UK than the 60d! So I'm pretty sure I'm going for that one as I'm only working part time at the moment! Any advice? Obviously if the 60d is ALOT better then I will probably save up for that one! thank you!

I have the 650D - it has a rotating touch screen and autofocus during recording. The rotating screen is great for when you want to record yourself etc as you can ensure you are always in the frame. Stick and external mic into the side and you have a pretty decent setup! ;)

oooh will have a look, thank you :)

^^^^^^^^^ ......GENIUS!!

The 60D is a far better camera (it's meant to be) but all SLRs have an absolute crap mic. I'd recommend using a mic like the behringer (check spelling) C1-U or the blue snowball. Although, these are USB mics so you can't have a computer and mic sitting next to you if you're videoing yourself.

It all depends what you want to do with the camera and mic. There is 3.5mm mics that will fit in SLR cameras though.

haha oh god I'm awful with all these extra bits they need lol! do mics just plug straight into the camera?

There is USB mics (won't fit into any camera) and 3.55mm plug mics (will fit in any SLR, most video cameras)
