EDIT: The title should say less zoomed in lense lol!

Hey guys, so basically what the title says, I've got the canon 600d, and at the moment I have the standard kit lense that it came with, and one that zooms in a lot more, I basically need one that's a bit more zoomed out, as I'd like to be less zoomed in on in my vlogs, as you can see from my videos it's quite close up to my face! I know, I could always move the camera further away from me, but then it is alot harder to see whether it's focused on me or not! Anyways, I hope that made sense! Thanks so much in advance if you can help me out lol! I have researched on websites but it's not really making any sense to me! :(

Have you tried the kit lens zoomed all the way out with the camera/tripod kept in the same position to see if that works alright? If you find you need to move the camera further away from you and focusing is a nuisance you could invest in remote shutter release so you can focus on yourself from a distance, lock the focus in and then start recording.

I was going to get a tokina 11-16mm lens for filming in a club where you are literally right next to people so i could actually get good shots, dunno if that would work for what you need

Go for a lens with a lower mm. 10-25ish is considered wide-angle lens. Around 10 though, you start to get the fish-eye effect, which is a pretty wide angle.

What lense do you have? I have the kit 18-55mm as a wide angle and it is pretty wide

yeah that's what I have, but I have the camera at arms length so I can easily focus the lense and see if it is focused or not![DOUBLEPOST=1380206146,1380206127][/DOUBLEPOST]

That should work nicely if you just zoom it all the way out, 18mm is still pretty wide on a 600d, you might get more of your room in the shot though.

I'm not sure why you would want more than 18mm but if you still want get a Tokina 11-16 f2.8. This will get a lot from your room and it will also distort the image on the corners.
