Hi there , is anyone out there using canon 5d mk ii/iii or canon 6d?
I'm planning to upgrade to one of those..
But yea , canon 5d mk ii is already discontinued ..
so probably have to get second hand one..
But heard that canon 6D is even better than the canon 5d mk ii..

Canon 5d mk iii handle moire better than the canon 5d mk ii and 6D.
But canon 6d's ISO noise reduction is better than the 5d mk ii and mk iii.
and 5d mk ii's image is sharper than any of those.

i'm really confused man...

anyone using one of those ?
need help man..

I would go for the Mark III, people have commented that the 6D may have a slightly better low light performance, but the moire problems seem to be really bad with it.

Plus, with the 5D you also get headphone output to monitor audio which is a big plus in video production.

But the price between this two camera is really huge different..
5D Mark II has the moire problem also right ?

Yes, but according to comparisons and reviews online it's much more pronounced on the 6D.

I would go for the 5D just for the heaphone monitoring, but if that is not an important feature for you, and you can shoot around the possible moire issues, the 6D is a good option because of the money saved as you mentioned.

I would agree with this.
Remember its a big investment, and you're not going to be making it very often!
