Can You Have Too Many Claims?

Hello everyone I have a question...on youtube can we have too many claims? I know claims actually give the music artist their credit etc and it don't really effect us unless you make a living off of youtube and at that point I'm 99.999% sure you do whatever in your power to advoid claims, but being a smaller youtuber have 10-15-30-50claims will they eventually shutdown your channel?

My experience from the help forums seems to show that indeed monetization can be disabled if you have too many copyright claims. I have no definitive numbers though and don't know if monetized claims are included in the count.
