Nope, one channel = one account. You need to open up a new gmail for every YT account you have.

Nope. But you can switch back and forth between two accounts pretty easily. Click your avatar on the top right, and click "Switch account".

Yeah but that's not going to connect two actual channels together. that's just connecting your channel up to your Goggle+. Not merging two YouTube accounts together.

Yes it is. The Channel gets transferred to the G+ page. The page becomes the owner of the channel, hence whoever owns the page also owns the channel... and you can own a lot of pages. You do need a second account for the initial setup as of now, but then you can transfer it. I manage like 11 channels through 1 account this way...

That's the Switch Accounts feature. That's not really connecting multiple accounts together.

No. The switch accounts feature has always been there, this is new with plus pages.

You still click on "switch accounts" to switch between channels/pages, yes, but you don't have multiple accounts, you only have one account with multiple pages. Once you transferred the channel to a page you don't get to access it directly from the account anymore, only if you act as the page and once you transfer the page ownership to another account the old account doesn't have access anymore at all. (Unless you make it a manager, cause the other way around you can also have multiple accounts lock into an manage one single channel, without giving your password away.)
