YouTube has the feature where, after you log into your Google account, you can set a preference where any videos you watch will default to your selected resolution (if/when available). Is there an option like this that works in reverse (for people uploading videos)?
I want my videos to load at the full 1080p by default, whenever we embed it or it's shared. Right now, we have a site where the embed link defaults to a low-res version and doesn't buffer unless the user clicks it over to HD. It's very specific about that particular source.
Can I set the channel to push this out at 1080p first, then let them downgrade if they have buffering problems?
