Can someone explain me the difference between Mixing and Mastering? I recorded a song and I want to get someone to make it sound good for me. I just don't know what I should get. Please explain to me both. Thanks in advance!

Mixing = adjusting your sound levels for every individual instrument(including vocals), panning, puting it all together, EQing.
Mastering = last touch for the whole track. Adding overall compressor, limiter, stereo seperation.
