Try to recover them with a recovering software .
If those files you lost are not too big you should be able to recover them . Last time I tried to recover some files I was able to recover files up to 10GBs . Bigger than that failed everytime .
When it comes to those .sfk files , well , you need to keep them . Unless you want Sony Vegas to build peeks everytime you open the project . And even in that case it will re-create them .

Omg..that's terrible :/ so sorry you lost your files. Unfortunately..I don't know what to do about it. The only thing I could think of doing is doing a full recovery on your computer..go back like a day or so...and I don't know how to do that. (My dad had to do that one time..he lost every single file in Sonar8 a music program....the reason was, he accidently deleted root files). But I'll move this to the Video Editing, Recording Software and Hardware.....hopefully someone can help you there.

eh i tried that :/ but for some reason the only recent version is from like a week ago i dunno why thats the only version

This is why I keep hold of backups of every video on an external hard drive. This also includes projects that are in progress. So say I upload a video I just completed and something is wrong I can simply find the project and tweak it thus allowing me to reupload again. I generally get rid of the project back ups too and it also allows me to remove raw footage off my computer to free up space but also keep it for future videos that might require it.

If you are making videos that can generally take a lot of time out of your day to record and make you need to make sure you have a back up plan in case your work goes kaput.

Recycle Bin? I dont understand how this got deleted....Meaning, yourself would have had to hit a "clear all, delete, erase, etc" button. If you followed a tutorial that told you to do that, then I wouldn't be so mad at the tutorial, be upset with not thinking it through first.

Also, the tutorial is clearly stated as deleting ALL files, which means.....ALL files......How do you blame this on the tutorial when it clearly states what it does?
