Can I save my files?

I've just spent 2 hours designing the first few pictures for my next video and saved them all, then my laptop decided to be a douchebag and the files are without a program.. I really don't to want have to design them all again, they took a long time:

Is there anything I can do to save them?

Edit - That's odd, I opened my editing program and the files show up normally. I think my laptops being stupid.

A quick way would be right clicking one of them, then open, then select a program from a list of installed programs and then clicking the drop down arrow and choosing windows photo and fax viewer I think its called and make sure to have Always use the selected program to open this kind of file and that will quickly set it as the default program.

Or

Go to Start> Search and type in assoc click on Make a file type always open within a specific program and then wait for it to load them up, then look for the same file type double click on the correct extension and then browse to the program to open them with.

I might be completely wrong here and not getting your point Sorry if I am.

I did that and Photoshop said "Could not open the file because it isn't the right format" - Strange thing is, I've just dragged them all into Sony Vegas and rendered them out, and they all work normally. Maybe it's just my computer.

Try this go to Computer> Top left Organise> Folder and Search Options > View Tab > Hide extensions for known file types uncheck that click okay. Now go to the folder, see what it says like whatever.jpg, if it is whatever.jpg rename the file to whatever.png and try opening that in photoshop, if that doesnt work then try .gif. Do it the other way round too if the file is .png try .jpg

Done that, it still won't open. It's strange, I can open the files when I go through the File > Open Recent Files tab inside Photoshop and they still function. It's just the little icons that seem to be broken.

I saved one as PNG and the icon came up, it's probably my laptop. Which site should I upload the file to? (PSD)

If you can add it to a zip or rar archive with winrar or winzip you could upload it to here or through the PM system If not then perhaps mediafire. Thats the thing though, the PSD should save off the files just fine, it is one of the ones that are blank I would prefer to check
