Can I run Google Ads on a Monetized video?

Hi,

My YouTube channel is monetized.

Can I promote a monetized video with Google Ads?

Must monetization be switched off on the video or can it be on while promoting it with a video Google ad campaign?

Monetization should be switched off for any video promoted through Google Ads. To leave it on, is to possibly invoke AdSense's Invalid Traffic ban on your account and disable your AdSense permanently.
