Can i have both adsense on one channel and be promoted on one other channel?

Hello all.
I have one youtube channel where i use adsense ads on my videos.
I am going to create one more channel with the same account.

This will be a whole new channel, can i join a network and get promoted/sponsorships for just that new channel?. Will there be any problem to use both adsense ads and network/sponsorships on 2 different channels?

If the answer is yes,
do i need to make a whole new youtube channel with a new account to join a network?.

You should be able to partner your second channel just fine, while your primary channel still utilizes Adsense.

Indeed! I am a multi-account, multi-channel owner; and only two of my channels are with my network; the rest draw direct Adsense revenue.
