Can I ask a question about using multiple YT accounts here?

Here's a dilemma I've been facing: I've got a YouTube channel that's going pretty well for me but it's always had its own email address and therefore its Google account (which is huge these days). My primary Google account is where I do everything but YouTube.

There's 2 very bad videos on my personal YouTube channel. rossxxxxxxxx@gmail (not a real address) - example
There's all my main content on my main channel drumxxxxxxx@gmail.com (not a real address) - example

I'm thinking I can't just put my drumming YouTube channel onto the ross gmail account because there's some videos there already. So am I stuck? I have had this thought...

I could link my bad videos to another inactive email account which would free up my ross gmail account. THEN, would I be able to go onto my drum gmail account and get it to link to my ross gmail account instead?

This is probably all very confusing but someone might have experience doing this before and can guide me. I'd really appreciate that. Is it possible? Have I got a good plan?

I'll try my best to contribute lots more to this site and hopefully we can all work things out!
 
Okay, just had a little look at the newer account and see that there's an option to "close YouTube account" but keep Google Account... That would be fine but then I just hope it will work to tell the old channel to move on to the account that is now free of a YouTube channel
 
i dont understand well what your are asking bout im going to guess... i think your saying that if you can move some video from cannel A to channel B?
so if thats the case.. then u can do that, just delete the ones from channel A.. and the secon post u made i dnt what u mean with "to tell the old channel to move on to the account that is now free of a youtube channel?" if u can explain your situation with Channel A and channel B will b better.. thanks
 
Thanks for the reply. By "tell the old channel to move" I mean "change email address" - a setting I can change in my account. I'm going to try my little plan here and I'll let you know how I did it if it works. Thanks again though - kind of you to read my stressed out typing :)
 
oh so why u trying to do is change the email addres of your YT account.. mmm well let me knw if it works
 
ALL SORTED! I wanted to get my channel onto my main email address and it worked. Thanks for the messages.
