Camtasia rendering problem - Game video error when completed MP4 video size is over ~4 gb

Posting Mad!
Hello fellows,
Please respond to this topic to confirm if you can create video file over 4 gb using Camtasia.
(im talking about completed finished video file ready to upload, not the raw recording file)

Im always using custom settings - format: mp4, quality 100%

And when processed and completed file appears over 4 gb in size, it shows black screen (no video, no sound) and i also tried to upload it to Youtube - same thing!
And when i re-create the same video by lowering quality to 90% or 85% etc. (to make Camtasia create smaller file) then, if its lower than 4 gb, it works fine.

I have tested it on several PCs and with different files, but always same bug.
Please respond of you know the possible solution or suggestion. Thank you very much! :)

It's probably an actual video quality problem. Camtasia isnt the most powerful video rendering tool in the world and you need quite a strong PC for it to render High quality footage into high quality.
4GB of footage does sound like a bit too much for camtasia to handle though. I've never rendered anything that large on camtasia. I used to only use it for smaller files like <1GB anything larger than that and I used Sony Vegas for it

I'd recommend publishing in AVI format and then using some sort of video compressor like HandBrake on the finished file if its that big on Camtasia - that's what I do and the quality isn't compromised.

Thanks fellows for replies!
I also googled a bit and seems its a Camtasia not yet fixed bug and you can read about it here if someone interested in this issue:

@BridieBunny,
Your solution to my situation to do with with AVI instead on MP4 worked fine! :) Its now rendered and completed file is 5GB+ (AVI) and working fine.
