Camtasia Rendering Glitch

When I record a video or do a mass recording then I edit it all together, around 12 min+, after I render it, Ill scrub thru the final produced footage and at a cetrain time, the video will stop playing yet the audio will keep going. Basically it freezes but you can still here it. Then, if I do decide to upload it to youtube, it will auto-shorten the video down to where it freezes. Im not sure why this happens, but I do need a fix. Im doing my 80 sub special with an extra long episode! :)
So how can I fix this?

what are your PC`s specs?
 
Sometimes Camtasia just messes up. Sometimes I render a video and the audio is out of sync or its laggy or something and I have to start the whole thing again.

It's rare, but it happens.

Except with me, its anytime I have a longer recording.

Which version of Camtasia is it? I know the most recent one has been having problems like this. Also, have you tried rendering in a different format?

On laptop now, but Im pretty sure im using either 6 or 7. What other formats could I download it in? The way I do it is when im finished, I go to produce and share tab, click what format which is HD then render it.

When you go to "Produce And Share" you should have a drop down menu with several options ranging from iPod to HD to Web to Custom Production Settings. If you go to Custom Production Settings and click next you can render in a different format which might help the issue. It's possible that Camtasia is having trouble mixing down the file with the current settings or it's just being picky.

Ill try that! What format do you recommend?
