Camera Bag

So... I am addicted to backpacks. And as an addict, I'm always looking for my next "high." In a few months I am off to Italy for a week or so. And I want to use a new bag. And I am in search of the best bag. I have... and love... a Wandrd Prvke 31 and used this last year to travel to/from and through London. Great bag. I have a Peak Design 30L and I HATE it. I have been recently using my Herschel Little America with a camera cube. I've been drooling over both Brevite' and Boundry.

I've worked with Greenroom136, and K & F Concept. But again... I am an addict. I Personally prefer bags that don't look like camera bags, which is why I love Wandrd, Brevite and Boundry. And also why I often use a regular backpack with a cube.

What do you like? What do you use? Why do you lie it? Why do you hate it?

The best camera bag i've ever owned is the amazon basics dslr bag, i got one used from amazon for £20 and it puts all my other more expensive camera bags to shame! check it out!

You hate the Peak Design 30L? I heard some great things about it. Now I never used it so maybe I would hate it as well. Why do you hate it? I have a Temba medium backpack but I don't really use it much anymore. I use my ThinkTank Retrospective 7 and love it because it is not too big and easy to get right to everything I need at the moment. It is very comfortable to me and it doesn't have a big logo saying I am a camera bag, come steal me...

Here is my review of the bag: https: //youtu.be/_E2pANs_Qjs (remove the double space between the : and the // for the link to work)
Basically the bag has, in my eyes, some really big design flaws. I feel it is the Apple of backpacks now. Just a status symbol and all hype. It does not function well, and the more I use it, the more uncomfortable I find it to be. I can't use shoulder bags, due using messenger bags for 20 years, then injuring my left (carrying shoulder) a couple of years ago. But I do prefer an unassuming bag for the same reasons as you. I don't want to advertise I have some expensive gear to steal. I do like the look of that Think Tank Retrospect 7 though. Clean and no advertisement.

my favorite bag currently is the Thule DSLR Rolltop Backpage - i used to like shoulder bags but it's such a pain. this one holds SO much stuff

I was actually just looking at this bag this morning. I am really liking it a lot. do you think you can carry a tripod on one side and a gimbal on the other?

100% - i've done it before, so many straps and packs. It held my SL2 and A6500 along with a bunch of lenses and my VideomicPro+ AND had the rear slot for laptop and I was able to clip Gorilla Pod and Tripod. Also the top rolls out and increases in size even more.

Also it's rugged as heck, so it gave me confidence of protection. (i obviously didn't punt and kick it around lol)

Bags are fine but I only use bags t transport pelican cases. If you are doing a lot of outdoor filming around water etc, pelican cases are a must. Only way to truly secure ur gear and you never have to worry about weather. I buy different pelican cases to fit a variety of travel bags we use. Couple years ago I had custom made two matching travel bags that my cases will fit in. Works great for traveling airports etc. All the best. JB
