Call to action approach

So I've read a guide about the 10 C's and one of it was Call to Action. It basically means that you tell your viewers what you want them to do. Im am aspiring musician and I was thinking what is a good way to say at the end of the cover video?

I really have this thought that if i say "Please like, comment and subscribe" it sounds really desperate and maybe people will make fun of me for being a "famesucker". But i really want to remove that mentality. Does saying something like that will really make them do it?

I think a more effective call to action would be a way to engage with your viewers. Maybe at the end of the video say you do cover requests and ask people to comment letting you know what song they'd like you to play. I think something like that will work better.

Yeah, ask them questions. Ask them what song to do next, like @matthewd said.

You will get comments and people are more likely being triggered to do something.

Yeah thats a great idea! I would definitely do that in my next video
