Business Cards, T-Shirt, Hat Designs

Hey Guys,

I was wondering if anyone had some input on where I should go to make up some business cards and a T-Shirt or two and a hat for my channel. I am going to be trying to get to PAX Prime this year (finally have the means, woo!) and I want to be a walking billboard, haha. Also planning to have business cards as this has worked well for me in the past when I went to smaller conventions in San Francisco, handing out cards to developers in this case as I do reviews of games.

That being said, I was hoping to get input on the following based on my current branding on my channel:

1) Where do I/should I go for this stuff? You can do all in one like vistaprint, or recommend a few for each item.
2) Hat design - What should I do? I was thinking My avatar/logo (look at avatar here) with maybe my channel URL embroidered on the back, or just the logo. Not sure what color hat though.
3) T-Shirt design - What should I do for this? I was thinking maybe my logo over the chest pocket, on the back at the top my channel URL and some bullet points on what I cover (Indie Game Reviews, Previews, News and more). Not sure what font color or shirt color either.

Any other recommendations or design ideas?

The likes of RedBubble is a good site for T-shirts and a number of other things. Although you could probably try somewhere like Vistaprint - I'm fairly sure they will print everything you need.

Never used any of these companies so I have no idea how they work, I'm simply going off of other peoples reviews I have read and what not :)

When it comes to any kind of design, you want something simple but stylish. You want people to only need to look once or twice to recognize your brand, not necessarily have to read a list of bullet points about what you do. However, on your card you would want to have those bullets points, as well as social medias and your branding.

Never heard of RedBubble, checking it out now!

That's a good point. I feel my avatar dude (Can see him on my banner here or on YouTube better probably) is pretty much my brand logo, similar I assume to your avatar. That on my hat would look good up front I think, but on the shirt I'm really not sure. The idea of just putting my channel URL on the back of a shirt with "Reviews, News, and More" was a thought of like, if I'm walking in the crowd and someone reads the back of my shirt which happens a lot. At least, I'm always reading shirts I see, lol.

We used vistaprint for our cards and have been using Spreadshirt for our various buttons, t-shirts, etc. We are possibly thinking of switching to a local vendor, just because the amount of time it takes to ship the shirts and the commission price per item on spreadshirt is kinda low for us. For our shirts, we did a few 'inside joke' logos, our YouTube logo, and just some plain avatar logo shirts. On the back of all of them, we have the url of our channel.

That's some great design ideas. This wouldn't be for a monetization selling to viewers (not ready for that yet, haha), but more so just so I'm kind of a walking billboard when I go to PAX Prime. I appreciate the info!
