Building Powerful Backlinks

Hey guys and girls. I don't consider myself an expert but just wanted to discuss one thing I am experimenting with at the moment and that is creating powerful backlinks to videos on forums. I have no idea just how effective this is, but am willing to give it a go to find out.

What I am doing is creating my own "video thread" on select forums I frequent in the Videos section, and posting my videos to that thread. Whereas normally I would post a video to a section and it would be gone into the abyss after a week, this method means the thread is guaranteed to stay at the top of the the sub forum list, building its view count and ranking the credibility of the back links higher... I THINK!

Would like to know others thoughts on the topic

In my opinion this only works if you are a notable member of that forum community. You have to actively participate in that forum, and even then it's uncertain whether they want to keep your thread particularly for your videos. If you're not an active user, the moderators will most likely mark that as spam and delete your threads .

But if you are an active user, you should do it. You will gain loyal viewers and subs that way

True. I'd say 50% of the forums I am notably active on and the other 50% I introduced myself as someone who was wanting to mainly post regular videos to the forum, to which there was no problems. I have been posting them for a long time but they drop down after a short period of time never to be seen again.

Time will tell I guess and like you say, good to gain loyal viewers and subs
